Having traveled extensively throughout South America and the world, Steeg Taylor is an accomplished veteran of adventure. Toughened by experience, and perhaps softened by a willingness to test the limits of his curiosity, he is driven by an insatiable thirst to venture off the beaten path.

Familiar with jungle warfare, Steeg introduces cruel drug lords in a plot where CIA and secret government operatives joust with enemies on the hidden battlefields of the world.

His travels and his experiences have made him aware of the many dimensions of justice and injustice. Yet he is a happy tested survivor in an often dangerous world.

Steeg makes his home in Southern California. For leisure, he scuba dives off Catalina Island, but prefers the shark infested waters of the Great Barrier Reef. Steeg is a pilot. He paraglides the mountains near the ocean, hang glides the cliffs of Yosemite, and kayaks rapids with friends on the Kern River. He has danced with snake charmers in Marrakesh, run with the bulls in Pamplona, and celebrated Carnival in Rio de Janeiro.
